A strong sense of self doesn’t always come naturally—especially for women who have spent years excelling, supporting others, or meeting expectations at home, work, and in relationships. Over time, you may find yourself questioning your worth, struggling with confidence, or feeling unsure of who you are outside of your roles and responsibilities.

Low self-esteem can show up in subtle ways: difficulty making decisions, fear of disappointing others, perfectionism, self-criticism, or feeling like you’re never “enough” despite all you do. You may notice yourself comparing your life to others, doubting your abilities, or losing touch with your strengths and needs. Identity concerns can also emerge during major life transitions, relationship changes, or periods of personal growth.

 

At Lasting Wellness, we understand how painful and confusing it can feel when your sense of identity feels unclear or fragile. Many high-functioning women experience this quietly, believing they “should” have it all figured out. But questioning who you are is not a failure—it’s an invitation to reconnect with your authentic self.
