Stress & Burnout
Stress is a normal part of life, but when demands pile up faster than you can recover, it can begin to take a toll on your emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Burnout often develops gradually, especially in high-functioning women who are juggling careers, relationships, family responsibilities, and the expectation to “do it all” without missing a beat.

You may notice yourself feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or irritable. You might find it harder to concentrate, set boundaries, or feel present in your daily life. Many women experiencing burnout describe a sense of running on autopilot, losing interest in things they once enjoyed, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others.
At Lasting Wellness, we understand the unique pressures faced by women who are used to being strong, capable, and in control. Stress and burnout don’t happen because you’re not doing enough—they often happen because you are doing so much and carrying it quietly.
Therapy can help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and begin to restore a sense of balance. Together, we work to understand your stressors, explore the internal and external expectations you are managing, and reduce patterns of over-functioning that lead to exhaustion. Our goal is to help you cultivate sustainable coping strategies, reclaim joy and energy, and build a life that feels more aligned and less overwhelming.
If you have been feeling depleted, stretched too thin, or unsure how to keep going at your current pace, you don’t have to navigate it alone. We invite you to reach out and request an appointment.
